The Inspiration
The family business is owned and operated by industrial safety specialist John Johnson and sons Joshua and Shawn. The inspiration began after John suffered a serious ear infection he attributed to handling soiled foam earplugs on the job. While enduring the discomfort and time loss from work, John vowed never again to use DSFE. That’s when Shawn, began developing a safer, faster and healthier solution to the problems associated with fitting DSFE. Soon, a father and son project built for their own everyday work became a patented, practical earplug insertion tool designed for workers everywhere.
